My music taste
As i had nothing much to write about, so i thought why shouldn’t i write about my music taste. I generally listen to songs which induce or stir emotion in me. Genres which I listen to Hard rock, Nu-metal (nu-thrash metal), Dance tracks, Rap (although I don’t like it much, like i used to before), Power ballads and even some choir type-of music (classical).
Now about emotions when i listen to Slipknot i feel the cruelty, blood and evil ,when I listen to Angels and airwaves i get a feeling of hope and clean energy, when Coldplay I can feel kinda solitude and loneliness and sometimes sadness, when classical like warcraft3 theme (i can’t remember its name ) i feel grandness and glory and when Promentory/Kiss(theme of “The last of Mohicans”) i can feel struggle and hardships.
i thinks its enough.
Hard times
I am going through great mental stress nowadays,sometimes it gets to much,the ache gets harder.Well its just because of myself , i fear that i would get an “F” in Calculus and BEE .Its pathetic really, should i have learnt and practiced, i never would be in this situation.It seems that the damned stress is devouring my usual behaviour and changing me into a psychotic, sad, pessimistic and pissed-off guy.
May Allah bless me, he is the only one who can really help…

My finals are on Jan 19 and i am so stressed up! i am so worried about BEE and Calculus , just pray for me…
Pakhtoon rage in Karachi
Yesterday Pakhtoon Action Committee arranged a strike in Karachi,what a strike it was! Violently clashing up with police and destroying public property apart from creating a transport situation in Karachi.I am no racist,but if Pakhtoon people have problems do a peaceful protest in from of Press clubs and places like that . You people are Pakistani too ,Karachi is a part of Pakistan too ,would the same Pakhtoons on the roads of Karachi would ever do the same in their own city/village where they belong ? Its our country we all have rights but exploiting people’s power like this ,is waste of human resource and cause of disharmony among the Pakistan people.
Even one of my University’s point was caught up in the action ,one of the my friend and a teacher got hit by a rock thrown up by a crazy Pakhtoon but by Allah’s grace no one got seriously injured,the time this happened the point was passing Quaidabad area.
Hope these men will learn one day.Ameen

The future of gaming in Pakistan is here. 8800GTS is on sale here ,this card is the first DX-10 card(also supports Shader Model 4.0) to hit Karachi streets.This beast is one hell of graphics card having 640mb on-board memory with a 320 bit ring-bus ,the performance of this card is great its on-par with X1950XTX the king of previous generation graphics cards on DirectX-9 games ,at most times exceeding it ,but i hope it will shine best on the Vista with the new DX-10 games which include highly anticipated Unreal-tournament ,Age of conan ,Microsoft Flight simulator 10 etc.The coming of the 8800gts marks the beginning of a new uber-power hungry ,new generation cards in Pakistan ,the arrival of these shows the demand og high-quality gaming here ,i hope that big brother of GTS ,”8800GTX” would come soon too, but its gonna be super expensive, i suspect that the price could go beyond 45K+ range since it has the double the power of PS3’s “RSX” GPU,the most exciting thing about these cards are that they have “unified shaders” and “stream processors” and the overclocking on these babies would be way more flexible than the old cards.
This card can be yours only for 37,500(34,500!) rupees !So you wealthy computer geeks and nerds , rejoice!
Well I’m too thinking about snagging these next year for my supposed ,at-least i would be able to buy 8600GTX/GTS/GT or something other.

Misconceptions about Islam
After being on many forums and different websites i have observed that there are great misconceptions about Islam in the eyes of a common westerner , some of these misconceptions , i’ll list below and explain:
1- The fundamental concepts of Islam are extreme in nature :
The above is a common misconception ,the truth is that in Islam nothing is extreme just read the Quran yourself and Inshallah you won’t find any extreme thing in it.
2- Quran teaches Muslims to convert or kill non-believers (terrorism) :
The above misconception was stated by Mr.Fischer who blogs here at wordpress ,believe me this is utter non-sense no where in the Quran and Hadith you will find that it written to kill innocent people,it is said in Islam if a Muslim kill any other person(may or may not be a Muslim) is the same as killing the whole humanity!Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W) himself lived in a society where pretty large quantity of Jews lived and the Holy Prophet(S.A.W) never did unjust to them.
3- Terrorism/extremists and Islam go together :
Terrorist and extremists have extremely different views from real Muslim people , if you ask me these terrorists and extremists are not Muslims in any sense because Islam does not teaches violence it only teaches peace.
It is a fact that Muslims are portrayed very wrong in the media if you see media mostly tells about only extremists not about the real and mainstream Muslims who are like 98% of the Muslims,In reaction to this westerners think that in countries like Pakistan and Afghanistan there exists mainly crazy Muslims who are ready to kill anyone.If media plays a fair role the western can really know about the real Islam which does it best , to keep one’s character most modest and spread peace.
Civic…my new car
Dad just bought a second-hand civic 2000. The condition of this car is awesome its an EXi 1.5 automatic ,the change is enormous from Charade 86 to this Civic ,driving is sheer pleasure in it! About Civic itself , This car was first introduced in 1972 as a 2-door coupe ,from that day to now this car has progressed pretty well indeed.Now i will write about the Pakistani perspective ,Honda Civics are hugely successful here ,every road you would see this car but the main competitor of Civic is Corolla i think its a nice car but its not comparable to Civic because there more better in every sense .
About Civic 2006 i have only one word and that’s “wow” ,its been completely redesigned and the result is awesome here. In Pakistan only sedan versions come with 1.8 engine as standard!I wish i had one 
. The 2006 version has got excellent reviews from everywhere its the ultimate car for us in Pakistan!
Civic may be low class in Western countries but here its considered pretty good because of several factors .In last here’s the picture of my civic and i am cleaning it up, by the way the car is standing beside my ground-floor flat.
